ReRoute Outreach

ABOUT ReRoute Outreach

ReRoute Outreach is an Austin-based non-profit organization that was founded by SaulPaul in 2002. As SaulPaul’s sphere of influence has grown, so has the organization’s. ReRoute Outreach now operates in numerous cities across the United States and Canada. Through partnerships with local area schools and local companies, ReRoute Outreach works with students, parents, teachers and creative professionals to empower youth to make better choices and live better lives. Since it’s inception, ReRoute Outreach has worked directly with over 100,000 students.

To remove barriers to life-enriching creative pursuits for talented, yet underserved, youth.

Students who are exposed to the arts excel. Students exposed to the arts are more likely to have higher SAT scores, graduate from high school, go to college, gain employment and volunteer.

Access to arts is out of reach for those who would benefit most. Lower-income, minority youth receive far less arts education and exposure to arts and culture as compared to other ethnic and socio-economic groups.

Teens need encouragement to identify and cultivate their interests. A significant number of teens are unable to identify a talent, hobby or interest. They are unsure how to develop that talent and lack motivation.
