SaulPaul’s gift for storytelling has opened doors to not only perform motivational and inspiring music, but create movies and books as well. Impressed by SaulPaul’s storytelling and musicianship, the Miami Public Library hosted SaulPaul as a special guest for Teen Read Week.

Having gone from tragedy to triumph, his story has a universal message of hope. His visit to the Miami Public Library System aligned with the Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) theme, “Unleash Your Story,” which is a national adolescent literacy initiative. One of the purposes of his visit included reassuring the youth of their value. He also encouraged them to chase knowledge in and out of the class room and to identify and unleash their own unique stories.

During this tour from North Miami to South Dade, as well as the Main Miami Public Library, he performed music from his album, We Dream in 3D, and shared tools with the students to help them identify their gifts and talents. To check out the new album, visit here.
