The Birches School brought out SaulPaul to Lincoln, Massachusetts after serving as the artist in residency for a 12-week program. He led virtual music workshops for middle school and elementary school students during the pandemic. During these workshops, SaulPaul helped students develop the Birches School’s key principles of creativity, self-reliance, empathy, and curiosity through his Be the Change curriculum.
The final event of the year celebrated their time together during SaulPaul’s residency. The celebration was held in-person, outdoors at the Birches School Campus. Students were able to practice, collaborate, and perform live with SaulPaul and their peers in a community performance.
