This month SaulPaul celebrated hundreds of young ChangeMakers whose service has impacted not only their community but other schools throughout their region. In partnership with the the SaulPaul Foundation and the Austin Public Library, these students toured the award winning library. Additionally, they participated in special programming provided by the SaulPaul Foundation along with a live performance by SaulPaul. Special guests included Casey Claiborne, news anchor from FOX 7 Austin. Look out for the next ChangeMaker Summit coming to your city soon. Be the Change Challenge Highlight
Check out the video below with amazing counselor, Janet Ward, whose campus has now contributed over 1,000 hours to the Be the Change Challenge and who is continuing to serve communities regionally across Central Texas. The students at Forest Creek Elementary School have been working together with the community to create stuffed hearts to share with the students and staff of Uvalde Elementary School. They want to share their love in a way that shows support and offers a physical reminder with a card explaining how to use the heart to practice mindful breathing in times of stress.
