Earlier in 2023, The City of Austin’s Economic Development Department (EDD) announced their inaugural recipients of the Live Music Fund grant program! Designed to empower local professional musicians and independent promoters, the program offers grants to support the production and promotion of diverse musical projects. Among the recipients, SaulPaul, was selected as one of several musicians and music and event promoters. This grant supports Austin’s local music scene. “I’m honored have been selected to contribute to Austin’s vibrant music scene,” said SaulPaul. Funding was given for artists and promoters across the city to spur on live events, studio production, and music broadcasting and moreso to sustain the music industry ecosystem. “I am deeply thankful for the City of Austin EDD’s commitment to cultivating a prosperous music community and create opportunities for a thriving local scene.”
