Back again, SaulPaul was invited by the Paramount Theater’s Summer Songwriting Camp as a guest singer-songwriter to lead a songwriting camp for young aspiring musicians. Returning by popular demand, the workshop featured SaulPaul among a star-studded line-up of musicians throughout the week to equip the next generation to learn about the craft of telling their stories through music. The Paramount and State Theatres are known for hosting legendary songwriters from around the world. Not only were camp goers taught about the power of words through songwriting but also discussed music business and life as a musician. The week long workshop is set to culminates with a showcase inside the historic Paramount Theatre. In addition to SaulPaul, vocalist, songwriter, educator, and Austin Music Award nominee Akina Adderley led one o the weekly workshops. Warren Hood, seven-time Austin Music Award winner, Austin Music Hall of Fame inductee along with Carrie Rodriguez, composer, singer, and violinist were on site.
