This year, the Texas Youth Summit, went virtual. Among the several opportunities for youth to get learn about how they can be active in their community, SaulPaul was invited to present a special session on Art and Activism for students across the state of Texas. One of the goals of the summit is to empower youth to think about real-life issues and create bold solutions that have the power to transform their communities, the state of Texas, the United States of America, and the world as we know it. As a Musician with a Message, SaulPaul was excited to share his song Be the Change and his work in the local and global community to entertain, inspire and empower the youth attending the event. The summit was hosted in partnership with The University of Texas at Austin, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Huston-Tillotson University as well as the Excellence and Advancement Foundation.
About the Texas Youth Summit
The Youth Summit strives to build and nurture a community of youth leaders who are committed to serve, equipped to lead, enterprising in action, and plugged into a network of other youth who are passionate about making change in their communities. This is accomplished by providing Texas youth with a 3-day online summit.
