SaulPaul recently made his way to New Brunswick New Jersey as part of his first world tour to be a part of the Juneteenth Celebration hosted by Crossroad’s Theatre Company. As a theatre company that celebrates black stories and black theater, they brought SaulPaul to be a part of their Family Saturday in honor of Juneteeth. SaulPaul was honored to be a part of it and was able to perform many of his classics including music off his most recent album, Okay to be Different. Spectators jumped into some of the dancing, and afterwards, SaulPaul met current scholars of Rutgers University from South Africa who are working to make a difference in the world they live in. It was a fun way to kick off the weekend, and have the summer of touring start for SaulPaul.
