The first Austin Mosaic Awards happened last night, with Austin’s own, Musician with a Message, SaulPaul as the emcee for the evening. SaulPaul was excited play a part in honoring business leaders and companies who represent the very best of Austin’s growing diversity & inclusion (D&I) space. There were several business and community leaders in attendance, including the Mayor of Austin, Steve Adler. As Mayor Adler shared his encouraging remarks for business leader growth in diversity in Austin, he shared, “SaulPaul is a treasure to the City of Austin” as he spoke to the amazing growth happening in Austin and the evening’s festivities in celebrating diversity in business.
The event, was organized by The Mentor Method, SocialGood.us, and BLNDED Media which an aim to recognize companies in various business categories. Additionally, two people within the community who have demonstrated undeniable action to move the needle forward in the D&I space were highlighted. Judges chose the top 20 nominees who celebrate, advocate and embody a culture of diversity and inclusiveness. What a great night!
